Salman Azhar is the Managing Director of Duke Angel Network and a faculty member at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, and an Entrepreneur in Residence in Computer Science Department. He has more than 25 years in industry and academia, during which he has led talented teams in developing and launching state-of-the-art software systems. Salman is now mostly focused on developing entrepreneurs and launching startups.

Salman co-founded SoftWeb, DecisionStreet, Swans International, and over 30 other startups in the areas of predictive computing, business intelligence, data analytics, and decision support.

Salman’s professional expertise lies in the areas of product management, predictive computing, natural language processing, financial systems, automotive, and health information systems.
